Included on this year’s list is Robert C. Garrett, president and chief executive officer of Hackensack University Medical Center.

“With a vision and competency like his, it is no surprise to see Mr. Garrett’s name on this list,” said Joseph M. Sanzari, chairman of the Hackensack University Medical Center Board of Governors. “We are incredibly fortunate to have a leader like Mr. Garrett leading Hackensack University Medical Center, and it’s nice to see him receive national recognition for the hard work he accomplishes day in and day out.”

Armed with impressive accomplishments, extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, these men and women continue to guide their respective organizations through change and innovation. Leaders were selected for inclusion on this list based on nominations, inclusion in previous Becker's Hospital Review lists and research conducted by the Becker's editorial team.
