BVMI Celebrates HackensackUMC Radiology Department at 2016 Gala

The Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative (BVMI) honored Hackensack University Medical Center’s (HackensackUMC) Department of Radiology with a Community Leadership Award at its 7th Anniversary Gala. BVMI provides free primary medical care to Bergen County adults who work, but cannot afford health insurance. Since BVMI opened in 2009, the Department of Radiology at HackensackUMC has provided hundreds of patients with diagnostic services including CT scans, mammograms, MRIs and ultrasounds.
