Caroline Vandemark Fund for Brain and Spine Tumor Research at the John Theurer Cancer Center Receives Generous Donation

The Vandemark family and members of the Caroline 5K Committee present a donation to benefit the Caroline Vandemark Fund for Brain and Spine Tumor Research.

A generous gift of $45,000 will benefit the Caroline Vandemark Fund for Brain and Spine Tumor Research. The donation, made through the HackensackUMC Foundation to honor the memory of Caroline Vandemark, was formally presented by the Vandemark family and members of the Caroline 5K Committee. Attendees included Caroline’s parents, Charlie and Mary Vandemark, her sister, Eileen Vandemark, and many of Caroline’s closest friends. Dr. George Kaptain, director, Division of Neuro-oncology and Skull-base Surgery, Department of Neurosurgery at HackensackUMC, and Dr. Samuel Goldlust, medical director, Brain and Spine Institute at the John Theurer Cancer Center at HackensackUMC, received the donation at a reception held at the Designer Showhouse of New Jersey.  The event was hosted by the North Jersey Brain & Spine Center.
