TWIN originated in Bergen County, New Jersey in 1974 and is now an international awards program of the YWCA. It honors women who have excelled in their fields and made significant contributions in executive, managerial and professional roles.
A Review Committee of human resources professionals, YWCA volunteers, and previous TWIN honorees reviews all nominations. The Committee seeks women with demonstrated leadership and exceptional talent in supervisory or professional roles who have obtained a significant level of achievement within a career path.
