New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is being honored by the Sohn Conference Foundation in support of the Cure and Beyond program at HackensackUMC.

Manning will make a special appearance at the Sohn Investment Conference, which will be held in New York City on May 4, where he will be honored for his continued dedication to Tackle Kids Cancer, a groundbreaking initiative that supports pediatric cancer research, clinical care and support services at the Children’s Cancer Institute at HackensackUMC’s Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital.

Funded by a $500,000 grant from the Sohn Conference Foundation, the Sohn-Manning Pediatric Cancer Survivorship Program will benefit Cure and Beyond at HackensackUMC, which addresses long-term health, emotional and social issues specific to pediatric cancer survivors.

“We are grateful for the generosity and compassion demonstrated by the Sohn Conference Foundation and Eli Manning,” said Michael B. Harris, M.D., co-director of the Children’s Cancer Institute at HackensackUMC. “This gift supports our efforts in helping our patients lead healthy lives after cancer.”

Cure and Beyond is part of a range of initiatives developed and provided by the Children’s Cancer Institute at HackensackUMC to meet a spectrum of patient and family needs. In addition, the Institute offers services such as pediatric neuro-oncology, developmental therapeutics, cancer genetics, photopheresis, bone marrow transplant, and clinical trials.
