Fios 1 News:HackensacUMC Celebrates National Young Cancer Awareness Week

The John Theurer Cancer Center and Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital at HackensackUMC hosted an event for National Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week. "Stupid Cancer," the nationally recognized adolescent and young adult support group, visited HackensackUMC as part of Kenny Kane and John Sabia's "Road to the Summit" 2014 Road Trip on their way to Las Vegas, for the summit held annually for adolescents and young adults with cancer. This was the only stop in New Jersey. Patients, hospital staff and representatives from Stupid Cancer attended the event, which included a pep rally outside and an awareness event inside.
