Hackensack University Medical Center Named One of the Great Places to Work in Healthcare for Six Consecutive Years

Hackensack University Medical Center is proud to announce it has been ranked among the Great Places to Work in Healthcare for the sixth year in a row, according to Becker’s Hospital Review. The 2016 “150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare” list includes U.S. healthcare provider organizations, such as hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgical centers and home health agencies; as well as other types of healthcare-specific companies, like consulting firms, health IT vendors, medical societies and more. A version of this list has been published every year since 2011, and HackensackUMC has been listed every year since its inception.

Meet the organization: HackensackUMC is a private, nonprofit, regional academic medical center serving northern New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area. The medical center is the biggest employer in Bergen County, N.J., with more than 7,500 employees, nearly 1,500 physicians and 1,700 volunteers.
