National Read Across America Day was celebrated at HackensackUMC

The Sarkis and Siran Gabrellian Child Care and Learning Center at HackensackUMC celebrated National Read Across America Day, an annual reading motivation and awareness program.  The event happens every year on March 2 to mark the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss.  Teacher Susanne Kuttner dressed as the Cat in the Hat for a reading of “Cat in the Hat,” “Fox in Socks,” “Green Eggs and Ham,” and other Dr. Seuss classics.  The three- and four-year-old classes also made their versions of green eggs and ham for a fun treat.
