HackensackUMC Holds 2015 Pharmacy Department Residency Certificate Ceremony

The Department of Pharmacy and Clinical Services at HackensackUMC recently held the annual Pharmacy Residency Certificate of Completion ceremony. This year’s certificate recipients are David Salerno, Patrick Lake and James Priano.

The Department of Pharmacy and Clinical Services at HackensackUMC recently held the 13thAnnual Pharmacy Residency Certificate of Completion ceremony.  This year’s certificate recipients are David Salerno, Patrick Lake and James Priano. The ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of the pharmacy residents who have spent the past year developing their skills as clinical pharmacists at HackensackUMC.

“Our pharmacy residents have worked very hard throughout their residency training and have made significant contributions to both the pharmacy and the medical center,” said Nilesh Desai, B.S, RPh., MBA, director of Pharmacy and Clinical Services at HackensackUMC. “I am very proud of the accomplishments of David, James and Patrick and I am confident in their abilities as clinicians and patient advocates. I wish them all the best as they pursue their future career endeavors.”

David Salerno is working to obtain his PGY 2 in liver transplant at Columbia Presbyterian, as is Patrick Lake, who is working to obtain his PGY 2 in Infectious diseases. James Priano is now at the University of Florida hospital to be an Emergency Department clinical specialist.
