Hackensack University Medical Center is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as the National Research Corporation (NRC) 2014-2015 Consumer Choice Award winner in the Bergen-Passaic market, achieving this distinction for 19 consecutive years.
“I am proud of this most recent NRC recognition,” said Robert C. Garrett, president and chief executive officer of the Hackensack University Health Network. “I want to commend all of our team members who collaborate every day to best serve our patients. Patients are more involved in their healthcare today and have more choices available to them. To receive this Consumer Choice Award reflects their level of satisfaction and confidence in our medical center to deliver the best results.”
One of only 34 healthcare facilities nationally to earn this recognition for every year that it has been bestowed, HackensackUMC was also named a co-winner in the Jersey City market for the fourth consecutive year.
Consumer Choice Award winners are selected based on criteria derived from the NRC’s Market Insights study, a national survey of more than 270,000 consumers. The award is based on the hospital that possesses the best overall quality, best overall image and reputation, best doctors, and best nurses.
Winners were featured in the October 13 edition of Modern Healthcare.
