News 12 New Jersey: HackensackUMC Celebrates National Wear Red Day 2014

HackensackUMC celebrated the American Heart Association's National Wear Red Day with a health fair. Representatives from the Women's Cardiac Institute, Nutrition and Food Management, Stroke Center and Cardiac Rehabilitation were on hand to provide valuable information to increase awareness of cardiovascular diseases. Those who attended had access to blood pressure screenings, body fat analysis, nutritional counseling, heart healthy snacks and an opportunity to speak with cardiologists who were on hand to answer questions about heart health.  Jacqueline Hollywood, M.D., of the Women's Cardiac Institute at HackensackUMC was interviewed and says often, the symptoms of heart disease are overlooked.
