Some of New Jersey's top lawmakers have launched an effort to keep patients seeking quality care in New Jersey. Senate President Steve Sweeney joined other legislative leaders in taking a tour of The John Theurer Cancer Center at HackensackUMC, which was once again ranked as the number one hospital in New Jersey in the annual U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals rankings. HackensackUMC was also listed among the top three New York Metro Hospitals, and is currently one of just 30 hospitals in the nation (less than one percent) to have 10 or more national specialty rankings.
