News 12 New Jersey: Wear Red Day

Hackensack University Medical Center, a member of Hackensack Meridian Health, joined the American Heart Association’s fight against heart disease by participating in National Wear Red Day on Friday, February 3, to raise women’s awareness of cardiovascular disease and empower women to reduce their risk. More than 100 team members took part in the annual Go Red photo, kicking off a month-long celebration of events, both at HackensackUMC and off-campus to promote the fight against heart disease. HackensackUMC is proud to join the American Heart Association in the fight against the #1 killer of women and men.
