Passenger Who Landed At Newark Is Asymptomatic, Christie Says

Gov. Chris Christie said today a West African airline passenger who landed at Newark Airport last night treated for possible Ebola virus symptoms is currently “asymptomatic.” The governor, speaking at Hackensack University Medical Center, said the passenger and his wife will likely be released from University Hospital after meeting with CDC officials. “There’s no indication at this point that he’s been infected with the virus,” Christie said.
