Montgomery, M.D., division chief of Breast Surgery, for their outstanding commitment to Breast Cancer patients at the Peace, Love and A Cure Event in Teaneck, NJ. Over the last year, Hackensack University Medical Center and TNBCF have partnered to elevate the standard of care for Breast Cancer patients in northern New Jersey.

Hackensack Nurse, Fiancée Take 2nd Place At Body Building Competition

Kenny Kelly and Krysten Wondrack, the Hackensack couple who fell in love through their shared passion for body building, each took second place Saturday night in a regional competition. The Teaneck show — The Bev Francis Atlantic States Championships — was the 9th competition for both Kelly and Wondrack, and the warm-up for the Universe 2017 from June 30 to July 1.

Hackensack Meridian Health to Pilot Combined Watson for Oncology and Cota Technology to Power Value-Based Clinical Decision Support in Cancer Care

IBM Watson Health (NYSE: IBM), Cota, and Hackensack Meridian Health, an integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, today announced a collaboration to pilot a combination of IBM Watson and Cota technology for the first time. The goal is to bring Cota's value-based care and real-world data into IBM's Watson for Oncology clinical decision support tool, which Hackensack Meridian Health oncologists will then use in a pilot to help inform patient care.

Memorial Day Ceremony

Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Center held a Memorial Day Ceremony to honor its team members who are also military heroes. During the ceremony, roses were placed on the Flags Monument in remembrance of the fallen. The keynote address was given by John Lloyd, co-CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health followed by a moment of silence. A formal flag folding ceremony was also held with a United States flag that had been flown in combat in Iraq.
