The state of the art Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Hackensack University Medical Center has been performing procedures since 1975. We began as a small lab, using one room to perform only cardiac catheterization procedures, and have grown to eight procedure rooms, performing 1,772 diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and 3,821 interventional cardiac procedures per year. Our physicians perform cutting-edge cardiac, peripheral, neuro-interventional and electrophysiology procedures.
The Cardiac Catheterization team consists of dedicated physicians, magnet nurses and certified technicians who share a common goal – to provide you with the best possible care. Hackensack University Medical Center has long been committed to the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Our programs in interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery and stroke care have consistently placed us in the top 5% of hospitals in the nation, and earned us high marks with independent ratings agencies.
