BMI Calculator

Are you a candidate for weight loss surgery?
Our Body Mass Index (BMI) calculator measures your weight relative to your height. This is a reliable indicator of body fat.
The ideal body mass index is between 19 and 24.9. If your BMI is higher than 30, you are considered obese. If you fall into that group, you may be a good candidate for surgery. If it is below 30, but still above normal, you may be able to benefit from our medical weight loss program.
Why BMI matters
Higher body mass index means a higher risk of disease, including heart disease, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, osteoarthritis, and type 2 diabetes. It can be harder to move when you are heavier, which means that you may not be able to get the exercise you need.
You can check your BMI by filling in the numbers below.
