James Lim, M.D.
Chief, Transplant Surgery
James Lim, M.D., joins the HackensackUMC Organ Transplantation team after serving as Program Director of the Kidney Transplant Program at Lankenau Medical Center from 2007 to 2013, and Pancreas Transplant Director at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital from 2001 to 2007. Dr. Lim’s expertise includes kidney and pancreas transplant, vascular access, and laparoscopic donor nephrectomy. He earned his medical degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and School of Arts & Sciences and completed his General Surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center followed by Transplant Surgery Fellowships at Albert Einstein Medical Center, University of Pittsburgh, and University of Chicago.
He is a member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Laproscopic Surgery, and the American Society of Transplantation.
Ravi Munver, M.D., FACS
Living Donor Surgeon
Dr. Munver is Chief, Minimally Invasive & Robotic Urologic Surgery at HackensackUMC. He is Board certified in Urology and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
His undergraduate studies were at Cornell University and he obtained his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. He completed his surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center and his Fellowship in Endourology, Laparoscopy, and Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery at New York Presbyterian/ Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr Bhayana joined Hackensack University Medical Center in December, 2013 as a Transplant Nephrologist.
Dr. Bhayana attended Rohtak Medical college for medical school and completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Nephrology Fellowship at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galventon, TX, and did her Transplant Fellowship at University of Washington at Seattle before joining the East Carolina University Medical Center as the Transplant Medical Director.
Her clinical interests include management of coronary artery disease in end stage renal disease and in the transplant popoulation. Her areas of expertise include post-transplant infections and rejections. She has done resarch to maximize the utilization of deceased organs, especially the organs from very young donors.
Dr. Bhayana is Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Transplantation.
Dr. Saeed joined the Organ Transplantation team in October 2013. His areas of specialization and clinical interest include end stage kidney and liver disease, liver tumors, dialysis access and organ donor management. 
A graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College, Pakistan, Dr. Saeed completed his general surgery residency at Drexel University Medical of College / Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He did his multi-organ abdominal Transplant Surgery Fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, TX and is a certified transplant surgeon by American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
Dr. Saeed is Board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of American College of Surgeons and American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
