HackensackUMC Urology patients benefit from the latest clinical trials delivered by expert physicians across a range of specialty areas. Our 5-story, 55,000-square-foot David and Alice Jurist Institute for Research is dedicated to ongoing research activities.
Each year clinical research within HackensackUMC’s Department of Urology leads to numerous reports in peer-reviewed publications as well as presentations at prestigious medical and surgical convocations. Our residents often participate as co-authors and co-presenters for these endeavors. To-date we have presented and published more than 500 original abstracts and manuscripts.
Physicians at the Hackensack University Medical Center Department of Urology are committed to clinical and translational research. We work closely with colleagues at our research facility, the David and Alice Jurist Institute for Research, and the John Theurer Cancer Center on developing innovative and promising treatments for urological disorders.
Our research is focused on both surgical and pharmaceutical treatments for a wide range of urological conditions. Our specialists have received numerous research grants and have over 250 peer-reviewed publications. In our research, we often collaborate with other departments within HackensackUMC. Physicians in our department also collaborate with peers at other institutions, creating multi-institutional databases and discoveries.
