On June 25, 2014 Rosemarie “Ro” Sorce, an enthusiastic and devoted member of the Hackensack University Medical Center Board of Governors and Foundation Board of Trustees, along with a group of friends dressed to celebrate the Fourth of July, visited patients at HackensackUMC to honor this special occasion.
The group treated the children and their families to songs and laughs. During the visit, they carried baskets filled with treats and goodies, including coloring books and crayons, which they distributed to patients at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital and books of word games for patients in the elder care unit. The group visits HackensackUMC several times a year to commemorate special occasions, including the Fourth of July.
