More than $2 million was raised at the HackensackUMC Foundation’s Annual Recognition Gala, held at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City. Guests, including 1,200 dignitaries, physicians, and team members, gathered with a shared goal: to benefit the critical services and programs at HackensackUMC.
“I want to congratulate the entire HackensackUMC Foundation team on another successful and memorable gala,” said Robert C. Garrett, president and chief executive of the Hackensack University Health Network. “Their tireless work consistently yields an impressive result and our patients are the direct beneficiaries.”
The event, held in early October, featured musical acts and entertainment including aerial Cirque performers, magicians and comedians, as well a wide array of dining stations.
“We are proud of our team’s accomplishments and we are grateful for the participation of our caring supporters,” said Jon M. Fitzgerald, executive vice president and chief development officer of the HackensackUMC Foundation. “Together, they demonstrate a true generosity of spirit and we are pleased to work together throughout the year on behalf of our patients.”
