The Shops at Riverside and the Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation Present Fashion for Philanthropy to Benefit Pediatric Research

The Shops at Riverside, a Simon Mall, presented Fashion for Philanthropy, an evening reception featuring a runway show presenting this season’s top trends from Bloomingdale's, L.K.Bennett, Zilli Menswear and Brooks Brothers Men & Women. The event raised more than $100,000 for pediatric research at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center, a member of Hackensack Meridian Health.
“Fashion for Philanthropy was truly a fantastic evening of fun and fashion to enable us to further our commitment to pediatric research at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at HackensackUMC,” said Ihor Sawczuk, M.D., president, HackensackUMC.
The evening began with a VIP pre-event reception hosted by Salvatore Ferragamo and the main event kicked off at 6 p.m. in the luxury shops area for cocktails and small plated appetizers. At 7 p.m., Ro Sorce, first vice chair, HackensackUMC Board of Governors and member of the HackensackUMC Foundation Board of Trustees and Heather Choi, member, HackensackUMC Foundation Board of Trustees welcomed the crowd for the fall fashion runway show.
