Dr. Max Gomez, medical correspondent for WCBS Channel 2's Healthwatch interviews Leslie Montgomery, M.D., chief of the Division of Breast Surgery and Gail Starr, M.D., board-certified radiologist and chief of Breast Imaging at The Betty Torricelli Institute for Breast Care at HackensackUMC about the SAVI SCOUT® surgical guidance system. HackensackUMC is one of only two hospitals in the New York Metropolitan area to offer targeted breast tissue localization through the SAVI SCOUT to precisely locate and direct the removal of specific breast tissue during a breast lumpectomy for cancer or for a surgical breast biopsy procedure.
