WMBC-TV: Superhero Halloween Visit

October 30, 2015 11:20 AM

In preparation for Halloween, patients at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital received a special visit from a group of caped crusaders. Employees from Sparkle Maintenance dressed in superhero costumes and as a princess, visited patients and their families during a pre-Halloween celebration. Some of the superheroes also scaled the outside of the children’s hospital as patients watched from their windows inside. Stephen Percy, M.D., vice chairman, Department of Pediatrics at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital at HackensackUMC discussed the importance of visits like this for patients and their families.
