Medical professionals prepare to hunker down for weekend storm

As a potentially dangerous winter storm recently approached New Jersey, members of the medical profession hunkered down at their various hospitals in order to serve the state. Joseph Underwood, M.D., chair of Emergency Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center, said that the hospital was set to provide employees with a place to sleep, shower, eat and relax until it was safe for them to go home. According to Dr. Underwood,  the busiest days at the Emergency and Trauma Center are typically the ones following a storm.
