Baby’s death puts light on postpartum depression

Not long ago, women who had trouble bonding with their babies were told the feeling would pass. Some had frightening thoughts of harming their children but generally kept it to themselves. Andrew Rubenstein, section chief of Obstetrics at Hackensack University Medical Center said testing for postpartum depression is now part of patient screening.
