Internal Medicine Residency
During residency, you will rotate through a range of internal medicine specialty programs, and gain experience in the following specialties:
- Congestive Heart Failure
- Geriatrics – Inpatient and outpatient
- Infectious Disease
- Pulmonary/Critical Care
- Sleep Medicine
- Allergy & Immunology
- Antibiotic Stewardship
In addition, our program is dedicated to creating a culture of wellness for both the patients we serve and our residents throughout their years here. Patient safety, quality, and innovation are at the heart of all that we do. Here, residents gain training for various high-risk scenarios in our state-of-the-art simulation laboratory, allowing for real-time exposure to high acuity incidents in a controlled environment.
Our state-of-the-art facility features the following:
- Simulation Laboratory
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Advanced Endoscopic Procedures
- Catheterization lab
- Handheld Ultrasound

Our educational framework consists of a combination of supervised clinical care and formal didactic teaching programs. The residents are expected to attend the various conferences and have ‘protected time’ so they can attend without distractions.
