We thank you for your interest in Hackensack University Medical Center, a member of Hackensack Meridian Health System. We are glad you are interested in our residency or fellowship training programs.
Hackensack University Medical Center is the Sponsoring Institution of programs hosted at both Hackensack University Medical Center as well as Hackensack Palisades Medical Center.
Hackensack University Medical Center currently sponsors nine core residency programs and one fellowship program. In addition, we sponsor a General Dentistry and Pharmacy residency and several non-accredited fellowship programs.
This is truly an extraordinary time for Hackensack University Medical Center as we are expanding our undergraduate and graduate medical education footprint. Hackensack Meridian Health and Seton Hall have joined efforts and have achieved candidate status in the process of opening a new state of the art medical school, Seton Hall-Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. This joint academic endeavor is truly exciting not only for our community here at Hackensack Meridian Health but especially for the community we serve. The Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) site visit occurred in September 2017 and the LCME decision on accreditation is expected in February 2018. More information about the medical school can be found on the following website: Seton Hall – Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
In addition, we anticipate to open 3 new core residency programs in Anesthesiology, OBGYN, and General Surgery. We anticipate to enroll the first class of interns in July 2019.
Here you will find some basic information regarding employment. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the program of interest respective program coordinator.
