Department of Clinical and Patient Care Services Great Place To Work® Trust Index© Engagement Survey Activities

Week One


The department hosted a week of engagement sessions and activities encouraging team members to complete the annual survey to achieve a participation goal of greater than 90%. The first week of activities consisted of “Guess How Many Hershey Kisses” where daily team member prizes were issued and team members also engaged in sharing their thoughts on why they feel this is a Great Place to Work on our GPTW Tree.

Leadership Reflections Retreat


In our quarterly Leadership Development Retreat, Dianne Aroh, MS, RN, FACHE, NEA-BC, Executive Vice President, Chief Clinical and Patient Care Officer engaged leaders of the Department of Clinical & Patient Care Services in a session to reflect on the driving forces behind why we do what we do every day and the “Outcomes That Matter Most”.

13th International Project Management Day Seminar ‘Project of The Year’ Award


At the 13th International Project Management Day Seminar, Patient Care Operations, Logistics, and Organizational Excellence (PCOLOE) Project Managers, Andrea Peine-Ardila and Rheya Boykins-Munroe, were presented with the 2018 Project of The Year Recognition Award for their “Executive Strategy Initiatives Portfolio” project which demonstrates how project management standards are used in the healthcare continuum, specifically for clinical operations, to align initiatives with the overall strategic goals of Hackensack University Medical Center. Their project was selected based on its complexity and the value of the initiative in Health Care.

National Nurses Week

The TODAY Show

As part of National Nurses Week, nurses from Hackensack University Medical Center, a member of Hackensack Meridian Health, made a trip to the Rockefeller Center in New York City to make an appearance in The TODAY Show. The Hackensack University Medical Center nurses displayed their “Nurses Rock!” signs and joined other nurses in celebrating the nursing profession.
