The Audrey Hepburn Children’s House offers a year long paid psychology internship specializing in child maltreatment and trauma. Training includes evaluation and treatment of families referred through child protective services, serving a diverse population.
About Audrey Hepburn Children's House
- Opened in 2002, the Audrey Hepburn Children’s House is a stand alone building located on the campus of Hackensack University Medical Center. It is specifically designed to support the emotional and physical comfort of children and families who visit.
- The team members at the AHCH work with children and families from Bergen, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, and Sussex counties.
- AHCH provides over 700 evaluations each year, and the mental health team conducts over 1,000 evaluations a year. The mental health team additionally provides more than 1,250 therapy sessions each year.
