Epic Education

We offer training classes 4 times per month on different days of the week and at different times. This flexibility allows you to pick a class that works with your schedule. You don’t need to wait for credentialing to be complete before you verify your Epic competency, but we strongly recommend taking a class at least 2 days prior to your official start to give Epic Security time to complete your profile.

Pediatric Emergency Department Educational Programs

From time to time, the Pediatric Emergency Department and the pediatric trauma center work together to provide educational programs and training to healthcare professionals and the public on topics of importance, such as the H1N1 virus, teenage driving, or the New Jersey safety helmet laws. The department also educates medical students from the medical schools at Rutgers and St. George’s University to prepare them for their future.
