The Heart and Vascular Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center utilizes a multidisciplinary team approach. Prior to your surgery you will be seen by your surgeon and cardiologist. Other team members involved in your care will include, Cardiac Anesthesiologists, Cardiac Intensivists, Advanced Practice Providers, specially-trained Registered Nurses, Cardiovascular Perfusionists, Respiratory and Physical therapists, Dieticians, Case Managers, and Social Workers. Every member of the care team shares the same goal: to provide you with the best possible outcomes and to see you return to health as quickly as possible.
