Complete Inpatient and Outpatient Care
Our pulmonologists provide adult patients with expert diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders and respiratory conditions that affect the lungs and airways.
The Division of Pulmonary Medicine offers a full range of services, including a pulmonary laboratory, an inpatient sleep clinic, outpatient pulmonary care, an exercise physiology lab and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Educational Opportunities in the Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders Medicine
The Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders Medicine offers a variety of educational opportunities for healthcare professionals, including:
- Medical student and resident electives in pulmonary/sleep medicine. The educational opportunities for medical students and residents include experiences in outpatient and inpatient settings. While rotating in the Breath and Lung Outpatient Clinic, students and residents are given the opportunity to participate in the diagnosis and management of pulmonary/sleep medicine disorders. In the inpatient setting, they are exposed to and gain experience in the hospital for pulmonary and critical care diseases.
- Pulmonary medicine fellowship. We offer a three-year fellowship program, training pulmonary and critical care fellows who can function as consultants in critical care/pulmonary medicine and manage complex disorders of the respiratory system, as well as provide intensive care unit management. In addition, fellows are provided the opportunity to do research in and critique the new research in pulmonary medicine.
