Directions to the The Audrey Hepburn Children's House at Hackensack University Medical Center


From George Washington Bridge and East:   Follow Route 80 West, staying in the local lanes, to Exit 64B. Turn right at the light onto Polifly Road. Travel north on Polifly Road. At the second traffic light, make a left onto Essex Street. Go to the first street on the right (immediately after the parking lot for the Arena Diner) and make a right onto Second Street. The Children’s House is the second building on the right (red brick building #12). Entrance to the parking garage is in the middle of the building. Take the elevators on the right side of the building to the 1st floor for medical appointments and 2nd floor for all mental health appointments.

From Paterson area and West: Follow Route 80 East, staying in the local lanes, to exit 63.   At the stop sign, make a left to go over the overpass. At the first traffic light, make a right onto Essex Street. Continue on Essex Street through four traffic lights. After the fourth light, you will pass the hospital on your left side. Make a left onto Second Street (before the sign for Arena Diner). The Children’s House is the second building on the right (red brick building). Entrance to the parking garage is in the middle of the building. Take the elevators on the right side of the building to the appropriate floor.

From Southern New Jersey on NJ Turnpike:   Follow Route 95-New Jersey Turnpike North to the junction of Route 80. Take Route 80 West and stay in the local lanes to exit 64B. Turn right at the light onto Polifly Road. Travel north on Polifly Road. At the second traffic light, make a left onto Essex Street. Go to the first street on the right (immediately after the parking lot for the Arena Diner) and make a right onto Second Street. The Children’s House is the second building on the right (red brick building). Entrance to the parking garage is in the middle of the building. Take the elevators on the right side of the building to the appropriate floor.

From Northern New Jersey on Route 17: Follow Route 17 South to Essex Street exit. Turn left onto Essex Street. Go through 4 traffic lights, and after the fourth traffic light make a left onto Second Street. The Children’s House is the second building on the right (red brick building). Entrance to the parking garage is in the middle of the building. Take the elevators on the right side of the building to the first floor.

From Southern New Jersey on Route 17: Follow Route 17 North to Essex Street exit. Turn right onto Essex Street. Go through 4 traffic lights, and after the fourth traffic light make a left onto Second Street. The Children’s House is the second building on the right (red brick building). From Lincoln Tunnel: Take Route 3 West to Route 17 North. Follow directions  for “From Southern New Jersey on Route 17.”

From Garden State Parkway: From Garden State Parkway North or South, take Route 80 East. Follow directions  for “From Paterson area and West.”
