For those who experience difficulty breathing, The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department offers programs to improve lung function and help people lead a more active life. The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department at Hackensack University Medical Center has been awarded Certification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) since 2000.
